Tilt is a free monthly music showcase event held in The Button Factory curated by John Barker and produced by Steve Caffrey and The Sound Training College. The aim of the live events is to highlight the best in Irish music talent while also providing training for students pursuing a career in the live music industry. Tilt is supported by Ticketmaster.

The spectacular Belfast Empire Music Hall has become established as one of the finest small/medium size venues on the island, thanks in no small part to its beginnings as a Victorian era church – both visually impressive and acoustically sound.
Galway’s municipal and multi-purpose Black Box Theatre – accommodating up to 550 seated, 750 standing – is located on Dyke Road and situated just 5 minutes’ walk from Galway city centre. The modern Liberty Hall opened in the early 1960’s. Built by the T.G.W.U as a facility for the union, the hall itself was originally a flat floored venue on two levels with a small proscenium stage. Since its reincarnation, the Liberty Hall Theatre has presented pantomimes, plays, opera, comedy, films and festivals.
Limelight 1 is a purpose built venue and night club that plays regular host to touring DJs, live acts, and comedy.

Located on the site of a beautiful 19th Century printing warehouse, The former Belfast Telegraph newspaper printing press, once at the beating heart of the city’s industrial & cultural output, has be developed into a multi purpose venue for a broad range of cultural events.
The TLT opened it’s doors in 2010 and houses one of Ireland’s biggest stages for music, comedy and dance performances. It has seen acts such as Cian Ducrot, LYRA, Sarah Millican, Nathan Carter, Tommy Tiernan and more grace it’s stage.
A musical oasis tucked beneath the infamous Workman’s Club, The Workman’s Cellar is Dublin’s best kept secret.

Ticketmaster Partners with Tilt to Support Grassroots Irish Music and Announce Upcoming October Showcase
Ticketmaster is proud to announce a new partnership with Tilt, Dublin’s longest-running ‘full band’ music showcase event. Through this collaboration, Ticketmaster will provide both promotional and financial support, enabling Tilt to continue its mission to champion Irish music and provide essential training opportunities.
This initiative underscores Ticketmaster’s commitment to supporting Ireland’s grassroots music scene – from musicians to sound engineers – and to foster the next generation of live event talent.
Spearheaded by John Barker and produced by Steve Caffrey and The Sound Training College, Tilt has become a cornerstone of the Dublin music scene since its inception in 2019 – listing Sprints, Gurriers, Tebi Rex and Tolü Makay amongst a list of over 100 acts that have performed. The showcase provides a vital platform for emerging Irish talent while offering invaluable hands-on training for students pursuing careers in live music production.
Tilt #35, the first showcase of the season, will take place on Wednesday, 22 October, at The Button Factory. This free event will feature three incredible acts: Telekura, known for fusing acid-soaked electronica with technicolor psych-pop; Vaticanjail, the new diva of electronic music and sonic magical realism; and Nuxsense, a seven-piece hip-hop collective from Dublin City.

We don’t set ticket prices – artists and their teams work with promoters to do that. However, our concert and tours hub offer a big range of events – from tiny club shows to huge stadium dates – at a variety of prices for you to choose from.

All the listings on the Concerts and Tours guide display dates, venues and cities. Split into genre pages, events are listed in alphabetical order for an easy browsing experience to find the best live music entertainment near you.

Again, concert start times vary. Usually venue doors open between 17:00 and 19:00 in the evening at arena, club and theatre shows, with some bigger venues like stadiums and cricket pitches opening earlier – from 12:00 noon, or 16:00. Times are dependant on the number of acts performing.

For most concerts and shows, the curfew time is 23:00. However, this may vary.

Most shows allow attendees aged 16 and over, or 14 and over when accompanied by an adult. Concerts who operate different rules will usually state it on the event page.
